I don’t see Nat retiring soon. Sunrise is just doing what they’ve always done - building a strong b-team so presenters can slot easily in and out without missing a beat. While I think Mon is great, I personally think she’s happier on weekends and just filling in where needed. I think the eventual replacement will come in the form of someone younger like a Sarah Greenhalgh or Teegan Dolling (down the line of course).
