Nine’s The Block Guest Suite Reveal was Sunday’s top entertainment show by a margin of over 700k. The near 1.6 million audience, was, however, down on the previous week’s 1.7 million result and followed 9News that was the number one news bulletin by over 300k as well as the number one show of the day. The combination helped Nine to an easy win.
Part 3 of The Battle rounds of The Voice aired on Seven averaging 881k, down slightly from last week and the lowest audience for the show since week one. Over on 10, The Amazing Race Australia Celebrity edition continued and was steady with 547k.
ABC premiered The Assembly’s second season to 543k that was slightly lower than the first season that debuted to 577k in 2024.
Later, 60 Minutes was down 160k from last week to just over 700k but still well ahead of the competition. That included the premiere of the second season of Mystery Road: Origin Season that did well for a Sunday night to get 485k. That was just ahead of 7NEWS Spotlight on 452k while Watson on 10 managed just 152k.
The final day of the World Athletics Championships finished after midnight on the east coast, well after the original schedule time so ratings will need to be adjusted.
Nine’s coverage had 441k for the original timeslot while SBS Viceland had just under 300k. Romantic Comedy also listed for SBS would have included coverage as well while 9News Late for Nine was listed with 259k.
In the afternoon, NRL Finals Footy 2nd Semi-Final saw the Panthers beat the Bulldogs to go through to face the Broncos averaging 1.174 million. That was 100k higher than the previous Sunday.
At breakfast Weekend Sunrise was 120k ahead of Weekend Today that was just 7k ahead of Weekend Breakfast.
