Summer bushfires 2019/20 - media coverage

ROAD TO RECOVERY WITH SCOTT PAPE

Wednesday 11 March at 8.30pm

SCOTT PAPE – BAREFOOT INVESTOR JOINS FOXTEL FOR LANDMARK TV SPECIAL

ROAD TO RECOVERY WITH SCOTT PAPE premieres Wednesday, March 11 at 8.30pm, exclusive to LifeStyle. All proceeds from advertising and sponsorship packages during the broadcast of the special will be donated to Anglicare Victoria Financial Counselling, to assist with their specialist Bushfire Recovery Financial Counselling Program.

The Fox schedule for New York on Ontvtonight shows XFL at 5:00pm and MSL Soccer from 8:00pm. It is the first weekend of the soccer season so Fox will not be bumping the match for a concert, I think.

Thanks, a little bit of dyslexia must have crept in there.

The concert highlights will be on Fox at 11pm.

That’s not primetime though.

Absolutely astronomical figures there.

  • I can stream the coverage Live on 7Plus (as I’m in WA) meaning that I wont have to change channels from 7 to 72.
  • The lineup was fantastic. Queen + Adam Lambert have put on a good show. As well with that, they are touring around Australia this month.
  • Crowd at ANZ Stadium look pretty good. Just over 80k turned out to perform live.
  • Larry Emdur and Kylie did well in the first half of the concert broadcast. At 5pm, the SUnrise Team took over the telecast.
  • $9.5 million being raised - This was pretty good.

Here’s some of how the earlier part of the concert looked on 7:

And the start of Foxtel’s coverage, for comparison:

Foxtel’s presentation was much more in sync with the official concert branding seen on the stage and concert website etc.
