Ahead of the upcoming premiere next Thursday April 2, Stan tonight celebrated the Stan Original Film Whale Shark Jack with a special event screening at Luna Leederville in Perth, Western Australia.

The film’s stars Alyla Browne, Giselle Philogene, Jayden Boundry, Luca Miller, and Emmi Williams attended the screening alongside the Western Australian creative team, including screenwriter and author Kathryn Lefroy and sibling directors Miranda Edmonds and Khrob Edmonds in their feature directorial debut. Producer Timothy White, co-producers Georgia White and Estelle Buzzard, also attended alongside Executive Producers Bernadette O’Mahony for ACTF, Donna Chang for Stan, as well as Screenwest CEO Rikki Lea Bestall and Amanda Clarke for Minderoo Pictures.

Guests walking the carpet included Stuart Aubrey (MLA for Scarborough), Janet Holmes à Court, and Professor Fiona Stanley AC, who attended in support of the film.

The Stan Original Series Whale Shark Jack follows Sarah’s (Alyla Browne) journey as she tries to recover from an unexpected tragedy and finds herself in the coastal town of Exmouth, WA. She struggles to make new friends and find her feet on land, ​and even in the comfort of being back with her great-aunt Dot (Rachel Ward), she is desperate to return to her old life at sea. Sarah pegs all her hopes on Jack, certain that when his migration brings him back to Exmouth, her mother will take her out on the boat again. But when Jack fails to return, Sarah embarks on a risky mission to find him.

Alongside Alyla Browne, ​ the cast also includes Abbie Cornish, Michael Dorman, Ursula Yovich, Karen O’Leary, and Rachel Ward.

NEW STAN ORIGINAL OUTBACK THRILLER TWO BIRDS IS NOW IN PRE-PRODUCTION.

Pre-production has commenced on the six-part Stan Original Two Birds. Filming on location in Western Australia, the series is led by BAFTA award winning Sheridan Smith (I Fought The Law, No Return, The Teacher, Mrs Biggs) and will be supported by an incredible Australian cast including Judy Davis (Stan Original Nitram, Mystery Road) and Stephen Peacocke (Five Bedrooms, The Newsreader).

Set in the harsh, beautiful, and isolated landscape of Kalgoorlie, Two Birds centres on Constable Izzie Cornwell (Smith) who arrives in Dugdale from the UK, hoping for a fresh start, only to have one disastrous misstep pull her into an increasingly tight web of deceit, guilt, and rising danger.

The new Stan Original series Two Birds is currently in pre-production.

When the ground-breaking drama “Outlander” comes to its epic conclusion next month, fans won’t need to wait long to travel back to Scotland and the “Outlander” Universe. Stan and Starz has confirmed a spring return of the critically acclaimed prequel series, “Outlander: Blood of my Blood” with a newly released teaser trailer and first-look images from the upcoming second season featuring the series’ two iconic leading couples, Julia (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy).

STAN TRANSFORMS CARRIAGEWORKS INTO THE TERRIFYING WORLD OF FROM , WITH AN EXCLUSIVE FAN SCREENING AHEAD OF ITS PREMIERE ON MONDAY

One of the most-watched thriller series on television, Sydney’s screening of From is the first in a nationwide sold-out series of fan events rolling out across four states.

April 16, 2026 - Tonight, the nightmarish town in From arrived in Sydney as Stan hosted an exclusive screening at Carriageworks for the upcoming season. The event was the first in a nationwide sold-out series of fan events rolling out across four states, ahead of the premiere Monday April 20, only on Stan.

As darkness descended, and the ‘monsters’ emerged, fans and influencers congregated for an immersive, eerie experience like no other. Armed with talismans and surrounded by clusters of townspeople, attendees interacted with elements of the series incorporated into the space, including a life-sized bottle tree, lone violinist and ballerina, and the town diner. As the Sheriff sounded his warning bell, fans were ushered along for the exclusive screening, where they were able to watch the first episode of the new season before its global release.

Alongside Stan Ambassador Tanya Hennessy, influencers in attendance included Tammy Hembrow, Caleb Finn, Stephanie Bendixsen, Sam Perry, Babbie Rabbie, Christina Fevre and Dion Racic, who met at Customs House before nightfall, and were transported under the cover of darkness to the secret event location in branded buses.

Celebrating the new season of From is a national event, with Stan bringing the immersive experience to screenings across Australia. Tomorrow night, Stan will host sold-out screenings in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

The events were inspired by the upcoming return of From, the most viewed series in MGM+ history, with a 96% Rotten Tomatoes score.
