TOM BLYTH AND AUSTRALIA’S DANIEL WEBBER RETURN IN THE THIRD AND FINAL SEASON OF WESTERN DRAMA BILLY THE KID PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 29, ONLY ON STAN
Inspired by the life of the famous outlaw, the smash-hit series is written and executive produced by Michael Hirst (Vikings).
Stan today released the trailer for the third and final season of the smash-hit Western drama Billy the Kid, starring Tom Blyth (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) and Australian actor Daniel Webber (Escape from Pretoria), premiering September 29, only on Stan.
Executive produced by Michael Hirst (Vikings), the new season resumes following the end of the Lincoln County War, as both Billy the Kid (Blyth) and Sheriff Pat Garrett (Alex Roe) have important issues to resolve - there is a reckoning to come. Billy is still at large, and Garrett is out to capture him, dead or alive.
With a bounty on his head, Billy has the opportunity to quit New Mexico altogether and pursue a future with Dulcinea (Nuria Vega), the love of his life. But he has unfinished business with Garrett, who has betrayed him, and decides to stay.
Jesse Evans (Webber), Billy’s longtime friend, rival, and enemy, also remains in Lincoln, searching for a newfound purpose and perhaps atonement for his sins. As the saga comes to a close, Billy will fight like hell to try to finally find the justice that has long eluded him, even if it means he’ll die trying.
The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Amblin Television and De Line Pictures. Billy the Kid is internationally distributed by Amazon MGM Studios Distribution. Billy the Kid season 3 is created, written and executive produced by Michael Hirst, alongside executive producers Donald De Line, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
The third and final season of Billy the Kid premieres September 29, only on Stan. New episodes weekly.
Stan has acquired digital rights to upcoming ITV miniseries I Fought the Law, starring Sheridan Smith (Cilla, Mrs Biggs). The 4-part drama premieres in the UK this Sunday, August 31.

Stan and ITV today released the trailer for the new Stan Original The Hack , a seven-part limited series about the phone hacking scandal which resulted in the closure of the best-selling newspaper in the UK, coming soon, only on Stan.
Set between 2002 and 2012, the drama deftly interweaves two real life stories, the work of investigative journalist Nick Davies, played by David Tennant (Rivals, Good Omens), who uncovered evidence of phone hacking at the News of the World, and running parallel, the story of the investigation into the unsolved murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, led by former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook, played by Robert Carlyle (Cobra, The Full Monty). Toby Jones (Mr Bates vs. The Post Office) plays former Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, Alan Rusbridger.
