Celebrating 26 projects – 14 new Originals, alongside ​
​12 previously announced titles still to premiere

Stan’s Chief Content Officer Cailah Scobie and Head of Originals Amanda Duthie announced 14 fresh commissions, with three dramas, six features and five documentaries.

Announcements include television series He Had It Coming with Lydia West, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Liv Hewson, comedy-horror Gnomes, and Love Divided by Eleven led by Brooke Satchwell, alongside feature films Whale Shark Jack with Abbie Cornish, Alyla Browne and Rachel Ward, psychological horror Saccharine from writer and director Natalie Erika James*,* One More Shot with Emily Browning*,* The Entertainment System is Down with Kirsten Dunst, Daniel Brühl and Keanu Reeves and The Beast In Me with Russell Crowe, Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, and singer-songwriter Amy Shark in her first acting role. The slate also sees the return of Australia’s favourite family, with Bump: A Christmas Film premiering ahead of the 2025 summer season.

Five new Original Documentaries were announced as part of Stan’s investigatory Revealed slate – Craig Bellamy: Inside the Storm, about one of Australia’s greatest coaches and leaders, Zyzz & Chestbrah: The Poster Boys , following the meteoric rise of two legendary bodybuilders and internet sensations, Joh: Last King of Queensland , a documentary about one of Australia’s most controversial leaders, conservative icon and former Queensland Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen, Into the Night, an epic investigation into one of Australia’s most baffling crimes, and Death Cap, which gives exclusive access into one of the highest profile criminal cases in recent memory.

The Revealed slate is a collaboration with Australia’s leading documentary filmmakers, as well as Nine’s award-winning journalists from 60 Minutes, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. ​

First look at upcoming Originals

Aisha Dee, Josh Helman, Chai Hansen, Laura Gordon, Luke Cook and Olivia Vásquez announced as the lead cast of the Stan Original Series Watching You, the psychological thriller based on J.P Pomare’s The Last Guests. Stan also released the trailer for the brand new season of Scrublands, based on the best-selling novel Silver and starring Luke Arnold and Bella Heathcote, and Revealed – Craig Bellamy: Inside the Storm, a brand new documentary following one of Australia’s greatest coaches as he aims to lead the Melbourne Storm to ultimate success in 2024.

Stan also released first look images for the eight-part Stan Original Series Sunny Nights, the darkly comedic crime drama starring Will Forte and D’Arcy Carden, and the Stan Original Series The Assassin, with cast Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore.

Partnering with studios across the globe, Stan remains the exclusive home to the biggest shows on television

Stan continues to partner with Hollywood studios and the world’s biggest international distributors including All3Media, AMC, Banijay, BBC, Fremantle, ITV, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Sony and Warner Bros Discovery to bring exclusive premium content from around the world to Australian audiences.

Alongside the brand new Originals announced today, Stan will be the exclusive home of a slate of brand new acquired series, including crime drama Long Bright River with Amanda Seyfried, gripping courtroom drama The Rainmaker based on John Grisham’s best-selling novel*,* science fiction mystery The Institute based on the Stephen King novel, enlightening documentary Kevin Costner’s The West, and British espionage thriller Secret Service. Also coming exclusively to Stan will be the highly anticipated Half Man, from Emmy-winning creator and actor Richard Gadd, who will star in the series alongside Jamie Bell.

Premiering soon as SVOD exclusives will be Oscar-nominated films The Apprentice with Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong, Australian award-winning animated film Memoir of a Snail with Sarah Snook and Eric Bana, and epic Western Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2 with Kevin Costner.

Stan continues to be the exclusive home of critically acclaimed global series, including the multi award-winning Hacks with Jean Smart, two continuing spin-offs in The Walking Dead Universe - Dead City and Daryl Dixon - and Raising Kanan in the Power Book Universe. Other highlights in Stan’s exclusive slate include brand new seasons of From, Twisted Metal, Sullivan’s Crossing, Trigger Point, Billy the Kid, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Alone .

Stan Originals still to premiere include Lord of the Flies, Ten Pound Poms S2, Poker Face S2, Love Triangle S3 and Revealed: Malka Leifer.
