Think your comment accidentally cut off for some reason
One opinion on (what I think) is Paul Murray:
We have a match.
Who here thinks that they should rebrand sky news to liberal news
One Nation News seems more accurate with some of the content theyâve been airing in recent times.
Why? The views expressed by the opinion shows on Sky bear little resemblance to liberalism. Big or small L Liberalism. Much like the current day Liberal Party.
Iâm talking about the liberal party. They are so pro liberals itâs not funny
I know, so am I.
That why it is big âLâ Liberal Party and not little âlâ liberal.
Strange move. Doesnât it need any viewers it can get?
itâs an odd one. we know sky isnât about news as it is about influence (itâs the same reason they pay Qantas to show it in the Qantas club) . youâd think they would put it everywhere they can to expand that infuence
Kayo added Sky News to provide content to its subscribers during the first lockdown. With COVID-19 situation easing in most of Australia and many sports returning, Kayo probably thinks there is no need for Sky News anymore.
Yes, but wouldnât they need every eyeball they can?
Maybe they have data that shows sky drives foxtel subs. Considering how popular the Channel is itâs likely
I suspect that people werenât watching it on Kayo - most Kayo users Iâve spoken to didnât know it was there.
They stopped promoting the channel on a prominent tile months ago and was only really available from the Live Channels group which is buried at the bottom of the list
MehâŚtheir loss.
I thought that was just a convenient excuse to get it on the platform for more eyeballs. If that was truly the case, they would have put the dedicated Sky News COVID-19 channel on there.
Well we got rid of Foxtel last week.
What I will say though is if Sky wants more viewers they NEED to appeal all audiences not just the far right. That is all Iâll sayâŚ
