Anything that they do over and above licence requirements that can be cut will be under the microscope and I’d suggest that based on the commentary around Childrens programming there will be an element of taking a risk around some of the more marginal things.
Yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me if Seven were to eventually merge at least some of the regional Queensland bulletins. Perhaps we’ll eventually get something like combined North Queensland (Cairns/Townsville), Central Queensland (Mackay/Rockhampton) and South Queensland (Wide Bay/Sunshine Coast) services?
I don’t think Seven - or any Tokyo broadcaster - would have a contingency for a total cancellation of the games. Naturally I’d expect this to change going forward, but Seven are screwed.
Their revised guidance (whenever they do release it) isn’t going to be good; no AFL, no Olympics, production halts for other programming.

Yes but the revenue mostly covers their expenses. Sure they may make a bit of a profit but most is to atleast break even. The profit they make would be less than the expense of these events / sport
