Could have acknowledged the issue though.
Just a simple “we don’t seem to have (Kaite) there, lets move onto other news and despite…” would have worked.

Explains why Kasey Wilkins has been presenting the Regional VIC updates in Grace’s absence
Sophie has improved drastically since she first started
Sophie was doing a great job to start with. Everyone improves with more experience.
Back in the mid 2000s there were some people who carried on about some of the weekend presenters on Seven Perth. They got better over time and one is now a favourite at Seven Melbourne.
No one is perfect at their job in the beginning.
Agree.
I think the biggest update they could make to these updates would be more training for those who are producing the content, the scripts could absolutely do with some work because the production and delivery itself are actually really quite good.
The file footage and photos make all the difference, too. It’s good to see more of it. Not to mention how perfectly they use the 10 News First graphics and animations. SCA’s noodles have come a long way.
SCA’s newsrooms across Spencer Gulf and Broken Hill are closed since Saturday, as part of their annual Christmas tradition of “no work during the season.” Nightly News returns on 7Two by around the second or third week of January.
Final (SCA) Nightly News bulletin for 2021 on 7Two Spencer Gulf
Honestly it’s stupid for regional news to be down scaled or to not air at all over the Christmas and New Year period. Regional news is important to people wether it’s 100% local, little local or blended in in a statewide bulletin.
It is a weird thing to do. Basically telling the viewers we don’t give a crap about you for the next month.
Granted the number of viewers in those areas isn’t huge but local news is important.
Do all regions that the Spencer Gulf bulletin cover only have one reporter?
