Of course, they waited until AFTER the Federal Election was over to implement the rebrand, as the electoral backlash over pollies failing to take action over a rebrand would have been political suicide and 7 would have been prevented from rebranding Prime/GWN.
In any case, it’s all Dan Andrews’ fault
7 sport sponsors are being used instead of the custom Prime/GWN ones.
Before:
Still seeing quite a few Prime/GWN style sponsors on other programs though.
We all just need to get on the beers then.
Cheers everyone
I spoke to Q, this slow transition from Prime7/GWN7 to 7 branding is being driven by a deep state individual inside 7 West Media to drive traffic to the MediaSpy website, which is a branch of deep state cabal running the world’s commo media organisations. /s
no one in my area cares. We have been calling PRIME , ch7 for years, don’t know why it took them so long to come to terms with their own identity… i hope they are happy now and can move on
The outrage on Facebook and Twitter is… non existent.
That’s great to see that.
7plus ad just played in overtime and cut to halfway through a news story on PRIME7 Gippsland just now.
I am still seeing Prime7 AFL sponsor billboards. I’m based in Coffs Harbour. Is anyone else seeing this, or is it just me?
Thanks for sharing. Bizarrely so similar yet slightly different.
Differences between the presentation system being used at NPC and TBS I’m guessing.
I hope that seven moves play out of prime to NPC as soon as they rebrand.
They will eventually.
I found out the other night the guy in charge of TBS MediaCloud is an ex Head of Operations at Prime of 14 years. Might explain why they ditched MediaHub in the first place.
Wait, when did Prime move out of MediaHub?
They moved out of media hub late last year.
December last year I think.
So where is Prime play out done from?
MediaCloud.
Yes, Trevor Clarke. He landed at Deluxe after Prime, and Deluxe MediaCloud is now TBS MediaCloud. From memory he was Program Manager at Prime for most of his tenure but was Head Of TV Operations for the last few years.
I felt sorry for him when he had to tell my department we were being made redundant. It seemed like the decision had come from higher up but he was the one who had to cop the brunt of the meeting. I bumped into him at an op shop a couple years ago and he seemed to be doing well which was nice.
