How does it end? They don’t chop people off mid sentence very often?
Usually it ends with a reporter’s sign off at the end of a package and a fade out to the commercial break. It’s not always perfect so a reporter might get cut off before completing the sign off or you might get a couple frames of the presenter back at the desk.
It’s better and usually cleaner at the end of a package where there’s a bit of a gap before the newsreader starts speaking, compared to the end of a newsreader voiceover story where there might be less than a breath between the end of one story and the start of another.
What’s with these updates using that ancient opener?!
My thoughts exactly. Why is going from 4:3 to 16:9…
Wtf lol?
Those openers don’t go to air. They play in between updates on the VAST News 416 channel. RedDragon uses my VAST streams to cap these updates. They really should update the old openers. They used to be in 16:9 when they were played out of SCA Canberra, but have been in 4:3 since moving to MHA.
That’s how VAST airs them, unfortunately @Nicholas
And I agree with @WAtvVideos, the Prime7 updates on VAST need an update
Just a question for people in Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney.
On Seven News last night in the Hunter region there was a story about a robbery at Morpeth neat Maitland in the Hunter Valley. Was this story also broadcast in other regions?
If that story was covered on Seven News Sydney, then yes it would have definitely aired in those 3 markets.
Maddie is returning to present the Prime7 Local News bulletins from tonight after being on maternity leave
It certainly did. Seven have barely started owning Prime, don’t expect anything major like splitting bulletins to local areas just yet. Only change so far has been the introduction of metro branding on 7two and 7mate in recent days.
Also a huge increase in 7+ advertising.
That is where the future lies as linear broadcast gradually takes a back seat.
Seems Prime7 have reintroduced afternoon noodle updates
Wow - that’s awesome!
How awesome! - Now all they need is to add the 6.30pm National News.
Isn’t the 6:30 news mostly repackaged 7News stories anyway? Which can technically be found in the main 7News Sydney bulletin.
Since Prime7 doesn’t upload the 6:30 news already, and the above, I would be surprised if they started uploading them to 7plus.
Great!
