Presumably off camera work in the production of the bulletins.
So he’s a producer for the bulletins?
Craig has a public service job as his main weekday gig. I won’t say more because a) my memory of the details is a bit hazy, and b) I don’t know how much Craig wants to have publicised.
his other job, TV is a side hustle.
25 years reading the GWN7 / 7 Regional WA news for Noel Brunning this week. Noel is also a Bunbury restauranteur, who shared the news on Facebook.
Would I be correct in saying that Craig Moore does the voiceover for the bulletin opener?
When was the last time the Sunraysia market had updates?
Yes, it certainly is Craig’s voiceover on the bulletin openers. He’s been the voiceover artist on those for some years now. Off the top of my head I’m not sure of the exact number of years but it would go back to at least 2017 when the eastern state bulletins went to a dual presenter format.
Never. Prime never had a local content licence requirement in the market. This changed when Seven bought them. WIN previously had a bulletin there but I don’t think they were required to have it.
Craig was a member on the old forum. A good bloke and happy to have a chat.
This is a first for the Sunraysia / Mildura Market.
So originally they only had weather updates when Prime7 was the owner of the station?
Yes
From my understanding, Seven has also employed a journalist / producer for the Mildura updates. I’m not sure if they are based in Canberra or Mildura.
I would say most probably Canberra. Back when I worked in the building pre-2016, updates were generally researched and written in Canberra.
Joanne Griffiths (the Mildura journalist) is based in Canberra
Are there any Journalists based in Victoria?
Apart from the journos based in Albury-Wodonga for Seven News Border, no. The journalists who cover stories for the noodle updates are all Canberra based.
I dare say she does more than just Mildura, probably all of Victoria?
