Speaking of Laura

She has posted photos and videos from her wedding on her Instagram. This is one of them.

I wonder if poor Ann has been let go.

Well she was presenting the Afternoon News today. Chris was presenting on Monday (Kings Birthday).

According to the Daily Mail Tarsh has been told she is one of the people leaving.

midday news anchor Natarsha Belling has been told her role is impacted by the media giant’s ‘bloodbath’ of between 250 and 300 staff, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Wonder if Alex Cullen will survive this too given how little he does.

Can’t say I’m not surprised tbh - as good as she is, given she is/was rarely seen out of the 12pm news (given her LiSTNR commitments), it probably makes sense to give the gig to someone who can also file reports in the afternoon, or read news updates on the morning show, etc, in addition to presenting the bulletin.

Not long ago Tarsh was hosting breakfast radio on Triple M Sydney, juggling that role with her commitments at Seven.

She then gave up radio to focus on her opportunities at Seven. Sadly for her, it seems she chose wrong and that gamble hasn’t paid off.

Have to wonder if the one hour midday news / Winning Arvo concept will survive at all. Perhaps 30 minutes with less filler would be a better use of resources.
