Further update with Adelaide’s 4pm - since Elspeth Hussey has returned, she mainly does the 4pm bulletin Monday-Wednesday, with Gertie Spurling doing Thursdays and Fridays, though it does sometimes change. Gertie has also continued to present the Saturday 5pm bulletin (previously Elspeth did it before going on maternity leave).
Also on days when Elspeth is presenting, the national 12pm weather comes from Brisbane with Tony Auden, instead of with Gertie or Casey Trealor.

Surely 7 has some sort of rights to a 7news special or some special tv show or program related to this mushroom murder saga. Like 9 isn’t doing anything this crazy regarding this case

The story (or lack of one) didn’t make the 6pm bulletins in Sydney or Brisbane.
Estelle has covered the trial almost every night (with Cassie Zervos also). Seems a bit rough to send Amor and Reaso down there just for the verdict.
I remember Seven News Brisbane had Kay McGrath outside the court for the verdict in the Daniel Morcombe murder trial in 2014. Don’t remember if they already had a reporter outside with her at the time.
I thought there was a reporter inside, Kay was outside and Sharyn was in the studio.
Great and rare to see the likes of Amor and Reason standing side-by-side, two of Seven’s longest serving, most recognised, respected and decorated journalists.
If my memory is correct, then it would’ve been Kim Skubris outside the court with Kay at the time.
I also remember Bill McDonald being at the site where Daniel disappeared.
