Tom Wilson (sport reporter) presented the 5pm News in Adelaide yesterday, subbing-in for Gertie, Sarah, Casey etc.
Makes me realise despite having a surplus of fill-in presenters, they don’t have any male (news) reporters who step up to the main desk.

Could just have Mike on? Really don’t see the point of having another reader when he’s already suited up for the 6 PM preview, but then again, why have a local 5 PM bulletin anyway?

The Australian’s Media Diary reports that the NSW Education Department got in touch with Seven after Peter Neilsen’s trolling of daughter Inga’s former colleagues on the network’s social media accounts. Peter vehemently denied any wrongdoing when contacted by the paper.
They probably think it’d confuse viewers who’d then not tune in at 6 haha
