That’s a little odd - usually with duos (on any network) these days, when one’s away the other just reads solo.
From what I’m seeing, Hugh will most likely be Tarsh’s offical replacement on the Midday News. It seems pointless given they have Alex but Hugh does seem to be a good presenter from what I’ve seen, so I’m not complaining.

Tom Morris now appearing on Seven News Victoria according to Promo I saw this morning while watching Sunrise. The promo also features Xander McGuire and Mitch Cleary. Imagine what that means for Theo Doropolus and Kate Massey.

to be honest I think this should be the norm into the future. One presenter does 4 and 6, the other stays and does the evening updates. Rotate if needed.

No, Fergo and Ange normally present Wednesdays. I think they’re on holidays at the moment.

Well Ange has been off for 3-4 weeks I believe.
Mark has had a whole week presenting solo.
So that begs the question.. if Michael & Angie have been presenting weeknights.. who could be presenting tonight

I’d hope Sally get the gig full-time though, if they don’t go with Alex (which they 100% should).
