Rostering across Seven 4pm News in Queensland was similar this week compared to last. Not sure what the thinking is. Joel Dry presented Monday and Tuesday with Marlina Whop presenting reports while on Wednesday and Thursday Marlina read the news with Joel reporting then on Friday Max read with bulletin while Marlina was a reporter. So not based on availability.

I’m surprised Katrina Blowers didn’t do 4pm at all this week (and last week) considering she is the weekend presenter.
Though she did do a report at the desk with Marlina yesterday, so perhaps she prefers to report during the week.

nationalnews Intel: Another reversion on Warburton‘s cuts. 7 are going into Q2 with more lineup changes to the Gold Coast news. Liz Cantor returning to her weekly spot. The new (original) weather roster commences the coming week.

Good decision. There was really no need for a meteorologist to be on the Gold Coast bulletin. I’d imagine that Gold Coast viewers prefer their weather presented from the beach as opposed to the studio.
