Looks like they share the hart and jacket around. Tom Sacre’s turn tonight. (Yesterday was Evan Batten).
Monday
Its a different jacket.
That logo on his jacket is ancient
A- the jacket and a different jacket and B- they could very possibly have more than 1 hat.
Jerrie Demasi: is joining 7 News Perth
Another case of “if you can’t beat them, join them” in Perth.
How many from9 have jump ship in the last few years!!!
I wonder who’ll be next… Tracy Vo?
IMO, she would be a great get for Seven once Sue retires. If she does make the switch (so to speak), she would join Ian Ross and Sharyn Ghidella as former Today show newsreaders to read Seven’s flagship 6:00pm bulletin in any market (though Vo’s stint as Today newsreader was cut short due to COVID-19).
What’s she doing with herself now a days? I know she went on Mat-leave but did she ever come back from it, did she freelance etc?
Looks as though Seven already have Sara Jones and Teegan Dolling on the scene (assuming the former for the proper story / bulletins and the latter for Sunrise/TMS in the morning), along with the on-air breaking OTS 30min into Seven News Melbourne tonight, definitely seems like they got the tip off the earliest but also acted on it asap
Angela Cox presenting Sydney’s Afternoon News today
Given that the Morning News came out of Melbourne due to the tragic events in Daylesford, they must have given Ann the day off
is that why? like would have been covered just as easily from Sydney.
More likely Ann had a day off hence why Bec covered.
Mark Ferguson presented the Interest Rate Update at 2:36pm with Gemma Acton
Katrina Blowers presented the morning news With a live cross to Gemma Action.
According to the Content and Appearance thread the bulletin started after the police presser which would have used the VIC feed - maybe they just thought it would be easier. Could have been coincidence though…
Who anchored Morning News today?
There’s your answer.
Ah thanks - obviously Bec presenting it from Melbourne yesterday had nothing to do with the events here. Although I would question why they couldn’t have just gotten someone to cover in Sydney - not dissing Bec or Katrina but surely there would have been more than a few people available there??
The bulletin is more than just a presenter.
