Seven insiders have told Media Diary in The Australian that Jacqui Felgate was less than impressed when Bec Maddern was parachuted into the plum position of weekend newsreader.
However, Felgate’s supporters insist that Jacqui’s departure is simply due to her wanting a shift in direction, and is thrilled at the prospect of more family time.
