I imagine there are three reasons he hasn’t been doing OBs…

  1. He’s an actual meteorologist, so sets up his own forecasts and graphics.
  2. He’s been crossing to Sunrise and The Morning Show regularly.
  3. All their resources are in the field with reporters. There’s no benefit to having the weatherman in the field in this case.

I assume he has caught it or is a close contact because he was presenting last Wednesday and then the next day (Thursday) Bec presented. Will be interesting if he returns tomorrow night. Would be 1 week since he last presented

Sidenote- been a while since I’ve seen Jacqui Felgate presenting the 4pm bulletin, in the last few weeks its only been Blake, Mike and Bec

I don’t think we will see Jacqui Felgate on the Afternoon News anymore,we now have the role shared between Rebecca and Mike with Blake Johnson used as fill in when required.
Jacqui is better suited to sport presenting anyway!
