Tyra Stowers presenting Melbourne weather from Como Park in South Yarra, ahead of its annual Carols at Como Park tonight.
With what looked like some tech glitches, with Blake Johnson resting his head in his hands with elbows on the desk returning from break, as his eyes were looking at the roof and then the floor with a smirk. Then Tyra stared down at her notes for a good 20sec before the switched to the weather graphics, which were also rotating very fast.
HSV7 has dispatched two reporters to cover major events: Cassie Zervos is in Fiji reporting on the Australian tourists poisoned after drinking cocktails at a resort, while Nick McCallum is in Darwin covering the return of the Bali Nine to Australia.
So the Melbourne newsroom is currently 2 reporters down.
We might see some of the producers filing reports for tonight’s bulletin.

At Seven, we hear reporter Liam Tapper is one developing star who has caught the eye of newly minted news boss Anthony De Ceglie and, in a sign he could soon be destined for a rapid career rise, his name has been added to the survey for the first time.
Sources tell us there is already banter along mahogany row at the network’s South Sydney bunker about a potential future pairing between Tapper and prized young presenter - and one-time Miss World Australia - Amber Laidler.
Other hot prospects at Seven whose scores are being closely monitored include Tom Sacre, Angelique Opie and Amelia Brace.
