I dont understand the critisism. She seems quite competent. Melbourne like ABC, so it’s not as baffling as some here are claiming it to be.

Agree. I’ve always hated this.
No it’s not ABC, it’s far worse than that. Hence why she was moved from newsrooms all over the country. Even having her on news breakfast couldn’t loosen her up.
I quite like Karina’s style
It’s more justifying another presenting position (that’s currently not required) when other talent within the newsroom are being shown the door. The timing isn’t the best.

that part I understand/agree with. But that’s not her doing, the management have done that.
What I don’t understand is the criticism of Ms Carvalho. Some people clearly dislike her and that’s fine, I just don’t see the issue with her.

I don’t see a problem with Karina there. I wouldn’t dump Peter for her, but doing daytime bulletins would be fine. If you’re going to be annoyed by someone’s presenting style, surely it’s Jane Bunn’s.

Blake could be utilised more on Weekend Sunrise I suppose.
I didn’t mind Karina today tbh. Give her a bit to warm into the role first I’d say.

She seems divisive with people, in you either don’t mind her don’t like her at all - I know she’s a public figure but she’s still a person at the end of the day.
Not sure it needs to continue to be discussed in such detail repeatedly.
