She only started doing it fairly recently, perhaps because the voiceover no longer makes reference to it being the Afternoon News (though she doesn’t say anything on the Morning News).
It’s timed over the transition so I guess it sort of flows. I’m not a big fan of the “First at 4” tag anyway.

Took them long enough.
I believe that 9now have each of Nine’s capital cities 6pm bulletins, but they don’t upload 4pm bulletins, so Seven are now one up on Nine.
Seven also upload Sunrise and The Morning Show in comparison to Nine who don’t upload either of their morning programs.

I think it’s probably a lot to do with 7Q moving their replay from 7Two to 7plus…i think alot of people had trouble accessing their local bulletin based on the IP address alone.

Now it looks like VIC, NSW, SA and Regional QLD have all moved to using the new styled mics. SE QLD, Gold Coast and WA still using older mics.

Sport aired at the earlier time of 4:24pm on Melbourne’s Afternoon News today, similar to Sydney’s 4pm news.
Typically the sports segment doesn’t air until around 4:40pm.
