Only thing is the top row of texts should be bolded to match the bottom. Otherwise looks half decent.
As well as the 2000 vibes I also get a bit of the 2004 simplistic on letting the gloss be on the title cards and full screens and allow the straps to be basic and clean.
Cause really the recused 2004 straps were only gradients.
Also the lighter text on the top of the strap doesn’t look as out of place if it’s kept to not being a sentence.
When it’s overloaded it looks off.
The flip animation between the 7News logo and the 7News.com.au is REALLY annoying. That will have to go.
That’s always been there. Nothing new.
You’ll see what I mean. It’s new and distracting.
Hopefully Melbourne have ditched the god awful Docklands view on the title cards
Any caps of the Melbourne 1pm update?
God awful and several years out of date.
Its an ugly design and i don’t understand their issue with the blue colour they have used for years. Not to mention the bottom right corner design thing that looks weird. Its like using the words “next up” instead of “next on Seven”. Change for change sake is not a good reason. I suspect a lot of people will turn off Seven due to their ugly graphics.
Far from ugly mate. Clean and clear. Best 7News graphics since 2004 era easily.
Liking what I’m seeing so far. The colour scheme is far better than the blue overload.
Burning take but whatever…
Would you prefer them to be stuck in the 90s with the crap they had just a day ago?
We all know Perth is stuck in the past as far as Seven is concerned
The lower straps are so intrusive and very tabloid. Would be nice to see them a bit smaller.
Oh my god. That is atrocious. What the fuck.
