So many other great Sydney landmarks they could use… Tom Uglys Bridge, a close up of the Cahill Expressway, Taylor Square, UTS Tower, Blues Point Tower.
Packer’s Pe. . I mean new Crown Tower
Great to see them use the second screen as well, but it’s still such a bloody awkward angle.
Mitch needs to TURN his chair not his neck.
Weird glitch in the Finance report nationally with Gemma. The scrolling ‘Finance’ text in the background glitches instead of scrolling.
It’s not just the text. The whole background isn’t looping properly.
Seven News Presents ‘Lest We Forget’
Monday 25 April 3:30 PM - Syndey.
A Concert Tribute to the ANZACS. Live From Sydney Townhall.
Nearly identical breaking news openings to 4pm news bulletins in Sydney on Seven and Nine with pooled helicopter vision simultaneously playing out live.
Pity that the Nine version didn’t spell Merrylands correctly.
Something a bit different seen on the afternoon news. A preview of a Mark Riley exclusive interview with Albo, but using the sunrise set as the “screen” and a lot of different angles etc.
Was a bit weird but also looked good
More examples of non-exclusive exclusives tonight. Seven Gold Coast News had two stories labelled as Exclusive, However, Nine GC News also covered the same stories also with very similar vision. You can even seen the Nine camera operator clearly in Seven’s story.
The load one looks like two different sources, so they may have thought they had an exclusive at the time.
The arrest, I can’t explain…maybe certain shots were exclusive, not the story?
Are you in any doubt about what news service you’re watching here? Totally pointless waste of space.
Also, why use the national backdrop when there’s a perfectly appropriate local one?
Yuck. Not as bad as the previous version though.
That is incredibly too white. Have they changed the flooring or is it just the camera photo?
Melbourne had a live cross to Perth on the condition of Mark McGowan’s Covid-stricken child at 18:06. Why? Hardly relevant to a Melbourne/Victoria audience, and definitely not warranting a live cross.
Think one more reminder would be useful - you can never be sure these days…
They also had it on the Sydney bulletin at about the same time
Have to disagree. Definitely a national story. Especially considering McGowan’s profile during the pandemic.
