I thought it was good. Funny you mentioned the apps segment as 9Now was completely removed from my 2017 Samsung TV a few months. Gone completely.
9now was the app shown on my tv. Completely gone!
Yep. Didn’t even give me the choice to keep it and have it not update. A notice came up saying it would be completely removed in a week and it was.
It’s annoying really cause I can’t stand the Apple TV homepage not being able to delete or hide all of the main 12/13 apps.
I’m not a fan of it being a big-noting exercise “as I exclusively revealed” etc.
I’d much rather a wider look than what’s posted on TV Blackbox.
I hear you re big noting but none of the content in this is from tvbb.
Yeah was going to say I don’t think the point of this is to relate it to the site?
What was it you were referring to that you exclusivity reported on then? Where did you report on it.
Oh, I misunderstood. Yes, that was a reference to TVBB but all the other info isn’t in the site.
Are you wanting these to ultimately be separate from each other? The site and Inside Media?
Apart from a few lighting and green screen issues, not a bad production @blackbox - I’m sure it will grow and improve like your many ventures.
Genuinely not sure. I don’t have a strong view on it.
Set is really bad, as is the lighting.
Content was pretty good. Interview could have been a bit shorter. I feel viewers might want quick hits of media news rather than interviews?
This could look good if it came from the Digital set
I think a fast paced version of TMZ Live. What’s trending, the latest Aussie tv entertainment news in 2 minutes and exclusives.
I’d personally ditch the long form interviews and replace them with a behind the scenes look at a tv show (like Entertainment Tonight of the 90s). Like how is “Deal or No Deal” put together for example.
Maybe go on location like the Warner Bros backlot on the Gold Coast or behind the scenes at BTQ Brisbane (I presume you’re still on the Gold Coast).
Good that Seven hasn’t restricted you by just promoting their shows.
Let’s see if they restrict any criticisms against them though…
That’s a bit harsh isn’t it
Nice presentation but I don’t like when the interview starts the video just appears on the virtual set I don’t like it when Nine does something similar on ACA it looks odd. Just have a split screen.
Really enjoyed it, these kind of short digital segments work well and good that 7 is doing something in that area (remember when Facebook Watch was the thing everyone was doing lmfao?)
They also did a couple of other digital stuff when they relaunched the YouTube channel, and 7News.com.au, which was also nicely done.
They also did a documentary for the YouTube channel about the queen’s death which was also pretty decent.
Agreed that the fake set/keying looks pretty average. Will be interesting if this ever covers the media moves at 7W, for better or worse.
