The shots on the Melbourne bulletin tonight look tighter than usual.
I must have missed that article. Everything I saw said an “expensive promo shoot”, but didn’t specify what that was.

After a few week of the 6:57 News, I though we might have seen some of the anchors react to the segment, but they all seem to ignore it. What about a smirk or chuckle? Perhaps they should add a laugh track

Sydney promo for next week
Similar promo in Brisbane but no sign of any talent; just ends. You’d think Seven could get the weekday and weekend anchor plus weather and/or sport reporters together for a photo. How many weeks have they had now.

Agree. 7 Brisbane need a group shot for their end shot, but also all their high profile reporters for a promo. They need to give the impression there is actually a team of familiar faces left!

What high profile reporters to they have left though? The only one I can think of is Marlina Whoop (political reporter). Joel Dry is no longer there, along with Sally Gyte.
Not sure.
But add in Katrina and Samantha as well.
If only they hadn’t let Kendall go.

Surely they are waiting until after the Olympics to announce a new co-anchor and then to shoot a new endtag??? Otherwise it makes no sense.

Katrina & Sam… + the Gold Coast team, there’s recognition with Steve right now being Ariarne’s Dad. Capitalise on that. Even get Liz Cantor if she is going to do the surf reports. Get as many familiar faces on there as you can.
I’d hope 7 announce something to coincide with the logies. They seem to be doing their relaunch on Monday ‘after the logies’ with The Voice starting.
If they wait until next year they will give too much ground to 9.
