7 Melb running another anti AO story - the cost of food and merchandise ‘under scrutiny’ however there was no reference to anyone calling this out (besides themselves).
In fact, one of the vox pops they played were fans saying how the prices weren’t that bad.
Would certainly look less awkward on camera, the other side of the desk is on an angle, the old newsroom window is at a full right angle.
It’s just a poor camera angle. If they put the camera where the sport presenter stands and turn it 45 degrees, the reporter-on-screen would be pretty head on. I think this would look better.
I think this Sydney piece fits the current setup in Adelaide though.

Tonight they also used the new screen for an in studio report, usually they would use the RHS of the set, where sport is presented from.

Looks fine in a standalone tight shot, but in the wide shot with a throw from the desk it looks a little cramped and there’s not a lot of depth.
