Paul Burt on the afternoon news drenched and continuing to stand out in the elements while reporting. Serious question, why do they do this? Is there some level of credibility to it? Because to me, they just look completely stupid.
And as part of the reporting you will here “the police have asked people to stay off the streets”.
Then at the end of the cross the anchors will say “Stay safe Paul”.

Do you want them to turn on a wind machine to make the studio more exciting? 
How would a wind machine improve the darkness?
At least it wouldn’t be “dull”! They could add some lightning flashes for you.
