Not sure if this is the right place to comment…
7 should trial a news channel.
Simulcast the early, morning and one of the afternoon bulletins live. They could show one of the east coast evening bulletins live, then cross to Adelaide and Perth bulletins live, have The Latest live as well. In between have live coverage at say 5-6, and through the evening until The Latest. Outside of that, during the day and overnight, they could play any/all of the other bulletins, even regional ones. Whenever rolling coverage is required, or days like election days/night, they’d have a designated channel ready to go.
Just an idea. No doubt it’ll get slammed on here.

There’s a thread for it - Your dream TV network - #187 by Avatar5991

There, I came up with the idea of a Seven News 24/7 channel.
