Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

Does that mean Melbourne and Adelaide will be 2 episodes ahead of the rest all week?

Yes. And with more Thursday night AFL matches later this year, expect another batch of four episodes of Melbourne and Adelaide on Thursdays.

It’s dumb that rest MKR in the first week anyway and screen it in the second week when people have Easter and public holiday on the Monday.

Returns with Season 1 Episode 11: Cease Forcing Enemy Wednesday 30 March at 10:00PM

According to the EPG, First Dates is scheduled in for 10.50pm Thursday this week - so looking unlikely unless there is a last minute swap.

On another note - looks extended Saturday Disney is moving from 7Two to 7Flix on Saturday mornings. 7Two instead running Home Shopping and Hot Property repeats from 19th March.

That is the what Seven did last Thursday - replaced First Dates encore with TAR at the last minute, so it is possible.

According to News Corp, Seven will show the recent Australian tour of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Billy Connolly’s Tracks Across America later this year. The latter is a 3-part documentary and one of the first programs produced by 7Wonder.

The Goldbergs are Returning to Thursday Nights with Double Episodes after Easter and I’m Positive they’ll go into Season Three shortly after that. Would’ve love to them on 7flix, but due to Troubles with the New Channel, It’ll stay on Seven Until Flix gets Popular.

Says who? Maybe you should ask the question rather than state it as “fact” when it’s not. Seven have a history of showing comedies at 10.30pm so this is just a continuation.

So stupid. Even more so knowing that Reno Rumble is launching that Monday. They’re giving Nine a free kick.

They should consider moving some episodes planned for the second week back into the first week. Monday and Tuesday at least should have MKR up against RR.

Note - expecting an update on this shortly to fill in blanks

Have they reconsidered resting MKR? Looks like it.

Gaps filled in - as suspected when Seven sent a media release through that said MKR was now Mon-Wed

MKR now fills the TBAs Mon- Wed at 7:30 pm

Seem to be a change of plan from Seven IMO, probably in response to Nine’s scheduling of Reno Rumble. Reaction from Nine will be Reno Grumble

On Good Friday, Better Homes and Gardens will be shown in Melbourne on 7TWO at 7pm.

Looks like Seven will show one less episode of MKR each week to stretch the season as long as possible to compete against Reno Rumble (and also pushing back the season premiere of MasterChef as well).

I think that is the smartest move by seven. The break last year caused a few viewers to find The Block again and when My Kitchen Rules returned seemed to lose a few viewers.

I don’t know how that conclusion can be reached when it was obviously clear from the original schedule that the 90min TBA slot for 7:30pm Monday would be MKR.

People on this website assumed it wouldn’t be MKR since it was rested during Easter last year but this was more the case of Seven playing scheduling games with Nine.

It had been reported that alternative programming had been planned for the first week but not officially announced. It may have just been speculation but it seemed to be more than that.

Worth mentioning that the 7Flix episode of Grey’s is also getting as repeat on the mainchannel on the same night.

The Sunday Telegraph reports Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) is currently filming Islands of Oz, which will air on Seven later this year. It received production funding from Screen Australia back in 2013!
