Melbourne schedule going to be out of sorts tonight. AFL delayed due to lighting at only restarting at 6:11pm and won’t finish until probably 6:45pm.
7 sticking with the AFL on the main channel currently as the match restarts at 6:11pm.

The Chase Australia rerun now out of Adelaide’s Schedule.
TV.Cynic will have fun deciphering the prelim codings tomorrow morning for Melbourne
And Adelaide (News isn’t airing till after footy here)
6:44 start to news in Melb
Just as you predicted, the Melbourne bulletin went the full hour. Home and Away started at 7.44pm.
Calls are needed to cut Ad Breaks out each time AFL Matches go Overtime.
Surely that’s the network exec’s call to make - cutting ad breaks is a loss of revenue so there would have to be a good reason to do it. Tonight they had a weak schedule of Highway Patrol reruns anyway so the delay worked in their favour.
And the playout system would be unchanged, just ‘time shifted’. All ads, promos for the specific spots and programs should air until at least midnight and NPC Media will chop 45min to bring back in-line with the network probably around 2am.
A rare time where promos will air (The Irrational and The Latest not sure about SWAT) after 10pm and 11pm in Melbourne tonight.
Expect prelim ratings to be higher in Melbourne than elsewhere for Home and Away (really news) and Highway Patrol ep1 (really H&A) but negligible for the other timeslots.
EPG will probably be out of whack though, unless NPC amend them live.
We don’t get city figures anymore unless tv.cynic provides it for us.
Ron Iddles: The Good Cop repeat started at 9.18pm in Melbourne.
7Plus EPG in Melbourne has actually been updated, reflecting the altered times
They could just keep airing the delayed schedule until NBC Today at 4am, then go live from there.
As MAFS was extended - Seven will wait for Farmer until 14th.
That means they need other programming next week so Sunday will be 1% Club and a Carl Barron special, Monday is Highway Patrol and then a movie (Equalizer2). Tuesday is Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story and Wednesday will remain 1% Club UK
They’re really treating one of their remaining hits well I see.
Why won’t they return Spotlight one week earlier given that it will probably rate well enough against MAFS and I’m a Celebrity?
The Spotlight brand is severely tarnished over claims revealed in court that one of its journalists reimbursed Bruce Lehrmann for escort services. I’d be surprised if the show is back on air anytime soon.
It is scheduled to return on 14 April.
Season 7 of 9-1-1 starts on Seven on Monday, April 15.

Filmed live at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne, join Carl for his fifth special, SKATING RINK FOR FLIES as he ponders things we all think about but never mention. Important things like plastic bags, peanut butter and the emotions of an ant. Voted number one live comedian by the Australian public, here’s another 90 minutes of funny stories from a bloke with a funny head. What more could you ask for… (bit of wee guarantee)
