If the First Test doesn’t go the full distance, Seven may be able to show Supercars Adelaide 500 live on the main channel instead of 7mate.

High probability considering WI are still the worst side and also weather to factor in, could be a mix of very one-sided and rain delays or wash outs.
Recently retired chief cricket writer of the West Aus told SEN a few days ago more or less just that, saying he’s heard only “hundreds” (not thousands) has been pre-sold at Optus, also saying there could be a more local Perth negativity towards them. Last lowest there was 2003 v Zimbabwe at the WACA.
Once the WACA Ground is fully redeveloped, the plan was to play “lower” series like this one and against less popular teams there instead of Optus, given the crowd sizes expected. Is the WACA available yet? If it is I assume it’s only at Optus given the break between Tests over the last few years.
Christmas with the Salvos will air on Channel 7 and 7plus on Saturday December 10 at 12.00pm. Due to Seven’s test cricket coverage, the show won’t air on lineal TV in WA, but it will be available on 7plus.
10’s preview screening of Flatshare tonight made me think that a timeslot devoted to previewing shows on their streaming service could be a good strategy.
Something like “7+ presents”… could be scheduled on Friday or Sunday nights after the main primetime program, and feature an episode of something new to 7+.

The Victorian one might be a bit harder to find on FTA though it will appear on 7Plus. As per usual it was recorded way back in September and will air first in Melbourne.
As mentioned before the 2022 Mayor’s Christmas Carols is from the Gold Coast and will also be shown nationally on Christmas Day.

Looks like Seven will need new schedules for tomorrow and Monday (assuming stumps will be called very soon with 6 wickets unlikely to fall within even the next 30min - Windies are bad but not that bad), with Australia likely to wrap up this Test tomorrow in the first session (probably over by 5pm aedt). That’s two entire prime time (aedt) sessions, considering it’s a ‘Pink Ball’ Test, that they’ll need to ‘make goods’ with their advertisers and now a likely defeat to (e.g.) Nine on both nights. I’d imagine gold coin entry to Adelaide Oval tomorrow afternoon too.
Sunday and Monday night sechedule for Seven Perth is probably close to what Seven will show if the test wraps up before 6pm tonight.
