Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

Didn’t he have a talk show in the US a decade ago though?

He did but I really really doubt that he’s a household name in the US.

It was on the TV Guide channel (or whatever it was called) if I remember rightly. So the channel you used to find programs to watch.

You would have heard of Sir David Jason. He was most recently known for his role in A Touch of Frost.

I’d be surprised if you didn’t know Tom Cruise, Ant and Dec, Dame Helen Mirren, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Dame Joan Collins or Keala Settle.

It’s for the Queen, not for you

Know of all except for that last one.

She sings This is Me from The Greatest Showman where she played the bearded woman.

You may not know the name, but you would definitely know the song.

That’s what it aired on? Like the TV Guide channel actually had original content that wasn’t just a 24/7 guide.

Yes. Americans find a way to make money every way possible.

What started as an actual TV guide eventually morphed into an entertainment channel.

That’s about all I know, correct.

Correct, but the telecast is for me, sorry, us.

According to today’s Herald Sun, Jacqui’s first show is this Friday (May 20) at 2pm.

Foxtel guide has the Friday movie in Melbourne and Adelaide not airing on 7mate, instead replaced by Family Guy. Wonder if that’s a mistake or taking a new direction?

I’m guessing it doesnt rate like Saturdays, as theres increased competiton from not just AFL, but Gardening Australia and 7Two (BH&G and last week also had the Jubilee) to name a couple, as well as Nine and 10’s counter-programming.

Friday night schedule for Melbourne and Adelaide is 6 episodes of Family Guy.

Family Guy has also been added on Thursday nights at 7:30, with 2 episodes. Also added episodes at around 2am Monday-Friday on 7mate, with 1 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 2 on Thursday and 3 on Friday.

And when you add it up, it equals 27 episodes of Family Guy in total for a week. Went from 4 to 27 REAL quick. Wouldn’t be surprised if it gets scheduled Late Thursday Nights or Friday nights from 8:30 on 7’s main channel.

Note: The marathon on Friday night will run in graveyard slot for NSW/QLD/WA, also Monday morning at 2am there will be different episodes of Family Guy on 7mate and 7flix at the same time.
