Interesting move to air Demons-Lions qualifying final on main channel in Sydney, against live NRL. It will be shown on 7mate in Perth due to time difference.
Paralympics on 7mate is probably a major factor in that decision. Also Iâd expect the Swans v Giants game to be live on the main channel in Sydney as well.
It is, 2-6pm on 7HD, 6-7pm post-match on 7TWO due to Paralympics coverage on mate.
On Sunday, theyâve got the Paralympics afternoon session split across 7HD and 7TWO with the footy on mate 2-6.30pm.
Not sure if just my TV but my EPG has the voice from 7:30 to 12:23am tonight, a bit of a booboo if someoneâs buggered that up

Itâs a bit odd that Australia: Now and Then is off air for two weeks in a row.
Surely airing Paralympics coverage instead would pull better numbers than âfillerâ programming?
Not really, itâs only scheduled now and then.
New ABBA songs being dropped next week after decades apparently.
The Latest didnât air last night in Sydney, went straight to The Front Bar at 11pm (11.07).
As noted last night - due to the âdeep cleaningâ of the studio.

So now 7 has rights to 1, 2, 3, Amazing Spider-Man 1, 2, Spider-Verse and Far From Home. I think Seven will get rights to Homecoming off Nine.
It looks like The Voice semi-final will be on September 5 and a behind-the-scenes special on September 6.
Episode 3 is missing and Seven is screening The Greatest Showman this Tuesday, August 31. Rather than repeating a Billy Connolly special, Seven should air double episodes of Australia: Now and Then on September 7 to finish the season.
Standard shit from 7, donât run any drama all year (except for H&A) and then they burn it off.
@JohnsonTV Guides in the Sunday Herald Sun today have Ep3 of Aust Now & Then airing this Tuesday night at 8:30pm. Is the paper incorrect? I donât think Seven would just skip over the third episode.
The paper is incorrect because the TV guide is printed in advance. TV Cynic posted this amendment on Thursday:
It is also confirmed by the TV guides on Your TV and eBroadcast.
The Brisbane Lions Semi Final will be on 7 in Brisbane.
They probably realise that drama doesnât work on the traditional FTA. People will find it on their online platform.
And yet, theyâll screen all sort of other rubbish and filler programs in the same timeslots but wonât give local drama a fair go to build an audience.
