Seems strange, I guess that cosmetic show flopped?
I do wonder whether this and certainly the Sunday night ‘Marvel’ marathon was part of their new strategy “reducing the age of our audience”, of which this network programming strategy seems to be working lead by BB and the AFL (as they’re saying their key demo shares are well up and are consistently ranking in the Top 10/Top 20)?
232,000 last night. +100,000 less than anything else at that time.

There is a Monday night AFL game on July 20 that Seven need to broadcast into Adelaide (Adelaide v St Kilda). Given the Crows poor form in 2020, the game may be bumped to 7mate in favour of Big Brother.

Like 10, Seven will be relieved that Nine has not scheduled the new season of Australian Ninja Warrior to start next Monday, so BB will only have MasterChef to contend with on Monday, and Bachelor in Paradise on Tuesday.
It’s interesting that Seven has scheduled The Front Bar next Thursday night. Does it know something about the upcoming AFL schedule the rest of us don’t? The AFL will reveal the fixture for Round 8 and 9 as soon as tomorrow (Monday).

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Thursday night game that week is a Foxtel exclusive. The AFL are planning on jamming more games into the next 5 weeks.

Not sure why Seven would program The Front Bar in direct competition with a live game though? Seven might also get some Wednesday night games in future rounds.

How are they able to film a new season of Big Brother later this year with social distancing etc ?
Just saw a promo for the next Seven News crime/investigative doco, the death of those Sydney school children, airing next Tuesday 8:30pm with Michael Usher. No doubt bouyed by last nights ratings too.

I think Sully is referring to the car crash in Sydney’s southwest in late January this year, which killed three of seven children as they were walking to buy some ice cream.
From The Australian last Monday:
It is understood that the show will start airing in late July with the much-anticipated interview of Danny and Leila Abdallah, who tragically lost three children when they were hit by a car in Oatlands in Sydney’s northwest.

According to The Australian, Farmer Wants a Wife will air on Sunday & Monday nights for five weeks.
Going by that and Big Brother finishing next week, you would think the show will premiere on Sunday 27th July (same night as Australian Ninja Warrior returns. However, the date will be announced on Thursday.
