Dumb (although maybe partly financial for five city advertisers) airing these in markets outside Sydney and Brisbane, they don’t even rate anymore in their home cities
I thought they usually rated well.

My vague memory is that Nine and Ten in the distant past had the NSW spectacular on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in Sydney. I don’t think it has ever had a huge attraction, and I used to assume the NSW government had bought the air time.

But why?
As everyone knows, ABBA Forever (originally broadcast on Seven in October) was rerun on Monday. As I was reminded by a few private friends of mine about it (they did NOT warn me about the original broadcast), Seven were running promos for it again for some reason.
As far as I know, it was pretty boring.

Indeed they did. One of them just caught some parts while flicking through channels, while another missed it so I sent her the 7plus link to it (which she watched in full, including the “low star rating” ads). You know what came out of their mouths when I talked about the “virtual ABBA tour that is still stuck in a “messing around” phase” and “new ABBA songs that keep getting delayed” things…
Plus, this special was produced around late 2018-early 2019 so some of the info is possibly outdated by now.
Am I the only one who read this match up as “Melbourne Ren v Stimpy Thunder”?

Seven showed the trailer for season 3 of 9-1-1 tonight during Border Patrol. It’s based on this trailer on YouTube featuring a cover of Cruel Summer by LA-based singer Madalen Duke and produced by Adrianne “AG” Gonzalez, but it’s slightly shorter and ends with the caption “only on 7”.
