Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

Mini-series Madoff airs on Seven next Friday week (October 19) and Monday October 22 at midday. The 4-part series aired on ABC in the US in early February 2016 and stars Richard Dreyfuss as Bernie Madoff, which ran a Ponzi scheme which is considered the biggest fraud in US history. Seven will show double episodes on each day, same as the US broadcast.

Good they’re bringing Take Me Out back.

Wasn’t that the plan anyway, after the royal specials aired?

Wasn’t sure as they had a TBC in the slot.

Love the latest promo referring to the “no result” on The Bachelor lol

Saw something interesting from CJZ’s Greenstone TV on Facebook today, they said Seven only commission 10 episodes of Highway Patrol a season, reminding viewers that Seven aired the first 6th of the latest season just concluded as double episodes, after someone asked why it’d already finished.

Do we think Seven will commission an 11th year, which is pretty impressive. Cynic said somewhere it beat Good Doctor in the key demos!

I see Seven wants to kill Wanted before it’s even started with these completely unnecessary double episodes.

That means the following night should be Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix.

Bride and Prejuidice will air over 2 nights - Mondays and Tuesdays from October 29th.

That will leave just a single episode of Taken Out on the floor.
Coincidentally, Seven aired all but the final episode of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back.

I know the following list are not ‘important’ or higher rating shows, this does demonstrate the stability of schedules between networks.

Nine has just 1 show not played out: 20 to One

Ten has zero programs that were pulled and have yet to be rescheduled.

Yet Seven has 12 shows: Emergency Call, 24 Hours to Hell and Back, Taken Out, Mesmerized, Tricked, First Dates UK, Kitchen Nightmares, Behave Yourself, Hospital, Manhunt, Survillence Oz and The Force.

Why don’t they leave Taken Out in for one more week and show doubles of B&P from the next week?

Thanks for this summary. It is shameful.

I can understand why The Force is being held up. Some of the cases mentioned in the show may still be before the courts or subject to appeal.

Summer fillers or or fillers in event of weather interruption in the cricket or the cricket ending early maybe?

Yes of course that is the answer, however it just shows the erratic scheduling of Seven compared to the stability of Nine and Ten.

Some are summer fillers but there is no excuse for not screening 1 episode of Take Me Out and 24 Hours to Hell and Back and pull Emergency Call.

However if Bride airs Mondays and Tuesdays - some ob docs may still air on Wednesdays.
They are airing repeats of Highway Patrol rather than new eps of Border or The Force.

Seven does have episodes up their sleeve that have been cleared to air

Have to agree there is no excuse for erratic programming, especially when they don’t give programs a chance to build an audience

The mini-series has been dropped from the schedule altogether. It is replaced tomorrow (Friday October 19) by the encore of All Together Now. On Monday, telemovie Kidnapped: The Hannah Anderson Story will air at midday.
