Schedule Update:

Friday 1 June
TBAs = The Metor Rpt

Saturday TBAs = House Rules Rpt

Nobody wants to watch this rubbish at 11pm on a Saturday night. They’d hold onto more viewers showing an encore of Front Bar.

Market variations will be posted later (significant due to State of Origin).

Huge week, the MCG is hosting the opener, which will attract more interest. And didn’t Seven manage to win one or two SOO weeks last year off Nine (due to a combination of things), first time since 2011 wasn’t it? So crucial Nine fix their other programming too, although House Rules was performing better this time last year.

I don’t want to open a can of worms but I am genuinely interested to hear different perspectives. What are people’s thoughts on the triple episode Home and Away? I feel like they lose viewers and it harms the program. They’d be better of running it all through summer and breaking over the Christmas new year week maybe. It’s a show designed for 30 minute consumption not 90

Agree with the sentiment. Should be airing Fridays except SA who can always reschedule.

They have sport to show over summer and therefore won’t be able to do that. With Cricket on Seven now, they are likely to suffer even more disruptions.

Maybe they could try it at 7 Sunday

Maybe but it performs poorly these days and they might be worried about losing share with other reality shows starting at 7pm.

True maybe cut the production order or is it better to lose domestic ratings share and advertising $ as opposed to international revenue arising from increased output?

They won’t cut the order. They need to fulfil contracts with overseas buyers and the Australian drama quota.

The alternative is to move it to 7TWO but they’re not ready for that yet.
