Did they edit previous episodes down to 50 minutes because they were boringly long? Or were they shorter running because they couldn’t attract advertisers?

I also find it strange that they have hardly any local scripted programs on Seven but they choose to burn through double episodes of first run scripted drama series RFDS and also screen double episodes of the first run scripted comedy series Fat Pizza and Australia’s Sexiest Tradie up against them on 7mate.

What are Seven doing with The Blacklist? Got seven episodes left and since the Olympics, it has not returned.

Just given the same treatment as any US drama other than 9-1-1, The Rookie or The Good Doctor.

Makes me wonder what their plans are, considering it is halfway through the season, I doubt they’d have an earlier timeslot coming up for it.

Manhunt The Night Stalker - Season 2

Coming Soon

Manhunt is a gripping mini-series based on the true story of a murder investigation that kept the people of Britain on the edge their seats and defined a detective’s career. Starring Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) as Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton, the story begins in August 2004 when a young woman’s body is found.

Sutton is appointed senior investigating officer, but initially struggles: there’s no forensics, motive or witnesses. Painstaking detective work finally delivers a suspect – Levi Bellfield. But now the hunt is on for enough evidence to arrest him and make sure he’s found guilty at trial.

Manhunt follows the compelling story of how DCI Sutton charged one of Britain’s most notorious killers with two murders, as well as an attempted murder, whilst also impelling Surrey police to consider Bellfield as prime suspect in the high-profile murder of Milly Dowler.

Premiere set to air on ITV on 20 September.

Aired in Melbourne (guessing some markets had “Sunday” instead and this split-screen end of program promo was split-out of the main program so as to be dependent on the market) at the end of tonight’s Homicide

Sometimes they’ve used (e.g.) “Tuesday week”, so as to make it clearer that they don’t mean this coming Tuesday.

Do you have day time guide too?

Yes. Anything specific?

Seeing if there are any GF marathons, special programs or details on the event day

Every is TBA from 9:00 am at the moment.

Since the 2022 thread is currently locked, this is the best place to post this.

During an interview with The Australian today, James Warburton outlined that Seven’s 2022 schedule will begin with The Ashes (the men’s series will be ending by then while the women’s one will then follow), Big Bash Finals, the Winter Olympics as well as The Voice: Generations and Dancing with the Stars. He believes that line-up will give the network a much better start to the year than they had this year.

Warburton also confirmed Seven’s Winter Olympics coverage plans:

“Like Tokyo, we’ll be going the ‘full shebang’ with the Winter Olympics, with as many as three linear channels, and up to 16 digital channels.”

Not the worst lineup but not sure if either will rate in the demos because MAFS and Survivor will both be on and are big raters in demos.

Surely Seven won’t air the Winter Olympics on the main channel up against Nine’s offering, which will likely be MAFS?

The Voice should do well for them in Quarter 1. Leave the Winter Olympics to 7mate.

But if we have a similar situation to this year where the Australian Open is pushed back to February, perhaps Seven could afford putting the Winter Olympics head to head with the tennis, and then reality tentpoles start on both networks in mid to late February.

Ideally they should have The Voice and DWTS airing at the same time on a split schedule (Sun-Mon/Tues-Wed) and have Winter Olympics coverage after 8.30/9. Should give them some decent late night shares and maybe even win a few nights.

Ideally The Voice: Generations and DWTS should rate higher than Holey Moley, but I fear for the future of the golf show. You could have (for example) The Voice: Generations on Sunday and Monday, DWTS on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Holey Moley on Thursday.

Holey Moley, if it was to come back at all, should be on two days a week at the end of the year, along with something like Australia’s Got Talent.

Hopefully they give the Paralympics the credit it deserves.

Also hoping we will find out CWG details soon too.

Dancing with the stars never rated against married on 10. This decision isn’t a good one.
