This is the first test match in Australia since 2012 to go until the last hour on Day 5. It will be interesting to see if Seven delays its 6pm News at all in Melbourne/Sydney or just moves the cricket to 7mate?

Affiliations or shared parent companies don’t mean anything when different distributors are involved for international sales, I’m glad not everything that airs on Ch5 also makes it’s way to 10.

I reckon you’re right, although I really do hope that Seven will be putting a bit of effort into Wednesday’s and Thursday’s this year and not just surrendering to Nine on those nights, by airing filler rubbish that won’t rate. They should at least try to be competitive or they don’t stand a chance to win the ratings battle this year.

The advance guide at TV Blackbox has Melbourne and Adelaide showing the AFLW season opener between Carlton and Collingwood live from 7pm AEDT, followed by Ant-Man. Guess we will find out the telecast arrangement sometime next week.

According to CA website, the Heat-Scorchers clash (shown on Fox Cricket) will now start at midday AEDT, followed by Renegades v Hurricanes at 3.50pm AEDT. Since it is a tripleheader, CA decided to spread out the matches a bit in case of late finishes to the first two games.
Seven’s telecast of Renegades v Hurricanes will now start at 3.30pm AEDT.
