Another classic As at 7:35pm AEST, still no change (even on Seven’s internal EPG as seen on the 7Plus Live Stream feeds), so it appears Only The Brave is going to air in Adelaide on both the main channel and 7mate at 9:30pm CST. LOL.

You’d think Tango & Cash would air after post-match. Although coded separately, they are part of the same program. Seven does not cut off unless they have other specific content to air.

The Geelong-Collingwood AFL clash actually starts at 8.10pm AEST as it will be held in Perth, meaning post-game coverage and The Latest will have to be pushed back by 30 minutes each.

Media Diary in The Australian is reporting Seven is getting back into long form current affairs with a new show believed to be called Seven News Spotlight Investigates.
It won’t have a regular timeslot or regular host. Stories will be introduced by the reporter involved and it will air on any night between Sunday and Wednesday following reality programming.
The show is expected to start late July.

This story has been re-treaded so many times, it’ll be interesring to see how it goes. Key to any success will be if viewers have been sucked in by the promos which claim ‘new evidence’ or something.

Think that’s the best way for Seven to re-enter into the long form current affairs landscape. Having the program only air when there’s a compelling story/interview will ensure it doesn’t repeat the same mistake Sunday Night did (and 60 Minutes still does from time-to-time) where it ended up prioritising quantity over quality.

Absolutely agree. A fresh start was needed considering how downmarket they’d taken Sunday Night in the last 2 years, it was at the stage that even if they had a quality story nobody took the show seriously anymore.
