No Sunday Footy Fest starting at 12pm?
There is Australian Idol Rpt at 12pm then Surveillance Oz and Border Security: International
Having run out of channels, Seven are now resorting to showing two events simultaneously ![]()
Collingwood v Port Adelaide will be shown on 90 minute delay in Adelaide, but Swans v Lions will air on two-hour delay in Sydney and Brisbane.
I think Saturday night matches shown on delay on Seven in the local markets in the first half of the season cannot start any later than 8:30pm. Otherwise, it is a two-hour delay.
Pretty poor scheduling for this given the subject is a big star judge on the network. Do they not think it will rate okay?
Surely after Idol one night is the best slot for this. Their Thursday nights look pretty average with Dogs / Talent.
3 delayed matches
match is delayed by 1h40min as it’s live 10:20am Perth Time
Match is delayed by 1h25mins as it’s like 7:05pm Adelaide time
Match is delayed by 1h45mins as match is live 4:15pm Sydney time
Match is delayed by 1h45mins as match is live 3:15pm Sydney time
What’s Happening with St. Denis Medicial? Surely 7Plus will Continue to Add New Episode each Monday despite not being Broadcast for the Next 2 Weeks?
Promo featuring Conan O’Brien. In Brisbane “watch live on 7Plus while you work” but only giving the time for the TV broadcast. Most will assume that it is live on 7Plus at the advertised time.
So Sunday footy fest isn’t starting until R1? I guess the same as their other shows this up coming week. Don’t know why they are letting Fox Footy & 9 get a head start.
Live At The Chapel, wow I remember that running on Ten MANY years ago now! Is it a new series or a one-off special?
Highway of death
The hunt for answers along Queensland’s Flinders Highway
The Flinders Highway, an 800 kilometre stretch of road through Queensland’s outback, has a dark and chilling history spanning over 50 years, with more than 12 people vanishing or being murdered between 1970 and 2018 – yet only one case has been solved.
In the gripping new investigation on The Hunters, airing this Sunday on Seven and 7plus, investigative journalist Adam Shand and former detective Steve Van Aperen embark on a road trip along this notorious highway of death. They revisit haunting cold cases, probing unsolved murders and disappearances, to uncover whether this isolated outback highway was a killing ground for Australia’s most notorious serial killers.
The duo delves into three haunting cases, including the brutal murders of the Mackay sisters and Catherine Graham; the remains of all of them were discovered in Anthill Creek. They also investigate the disappearance of two young hitchhikers, Anita Cunningham and Robin Hoinville-Bartram, who vanished in 1972.
In July 1972, Anita and Robin set off from Melbourne to hitchhike to the latter’s mother’s house in Bowen, a journey they would never complete. Months later, Robin’s remains were discovered in Sensible Creek, under a bridge on the Flinders Highway. The fate of Anita remains unknown to this day.
The Hunters explores the landscape, profiles potential predators, and examines possible links between the crimes. Is this the work of one killer or multiple killers?
Adam and Steve test claims that the crimes may have been committed by some of Australia’s most infamous figures like Ivan Milat, convicted Whiskey Au Go Go murderer John Andrew Stuart and alleged child killer Arthur Stanley Brown. They also interview key witnesses and sources who possess crucial knowledge of these decades-old cold cases.
In a powerful moment, the team takes Anita’s brother, David Cunningham, to the site where his sister’s remains may be found after vanishing 50 years ago.
For the first time ever, the investigation reveals an eyewitness who spoke to Anita and Robin before their disappearance – and may have witnessed their final moments.
The special investigation features key insights from retired Queensland Police Detective Seargent Mick Gurn, retired Queensland Police Officer Brian Beveridge and forensic archaeologist Dr Louise Steding.
The Hunters: Murder Highway
Watch after Australian Idol’s first live performance show this Sunday, 9 March on Seven and 7plus
The Oscars finished an inconvenient 20 minutes later than advertised. After an overload of ads and promos Beat The Chasers has started +6 minutes early with Surveillance Oz dropped.
Edit: may have caused issues in the US where the live streaming cut off before the end, missing the final 2 awards.
The result was that viewers on Hulu missed the night’s final two awards in which Anora’s Mikey Madison upset Demi Moore to win Best Actress, and Baker — who was also editor, screenwriter and producer on the film — won his fourth statue of the night when Anora took Best Picture.
The issue may lie with the ceremony’s length. At 3 hours and 47 minutes, it was long even for the Oscars. Hulu may have only planned for a 3-hour and 30-ish-minute ceremony, which would explain the 15 minutes or so cut off.
Update: Seven’s latest schedule for Sydney and Brisbane has some errors in it but appears to show AFL moved to the main channel in Sydney and Brisbane next Sunday afternoon - for the first part of the game.
Edit - the coverage moved to 7Mate at quarter time.

03:00 PM AFL Rnd 0: GWS v Collingwood
Brisbane
01:30 PM AFL Pre-Game
02:00 PM AFL Rnd 0: GWS v Collingwood
Did we ever get to the bottom of what happened to Thus is your Life? I believe some episodes are still on the shelf?
The below schedule may now air nationally on Thursday due to the postponement of the AFL season opener. Brisbane potentially may have a 7News special coverage depending on the severity of the cyclone…
Seems that Seven is unhappy with the performance of Suites. Next Monday it is bumped to later in the schedule in AFL markets.

Suits is clearly not setting the world on fire, however, I believe the swap for next week is to push The Agenda Setters so its head to head with Footy Classified - a promotional push for the new show.
Any news about 911 & also The Rookie (7+ says coming soon)
