Aren’t the same Horse Races already shown on Racing.com? At least there would still be coverage on FTA across most of the country
Racing dot com only shows races from Melbourne and Adelaide. Meetings in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Gold Coast are on Seven or 7two only.
For example, Seven is scheduled to show races from Caulfield in Melbourne, Doomben (Brisbane) and Gold Coast, and Rosehill in Sydney, on Saturday February 1.
There are 4 multi channels - all of the sport will be covered

Seven: local home of the Oscars®
New three-year exclusive agreement covering 2026 to 2028
The Seven Network today announced it has extended its agreement with Disney Entertainment to broadcast the Oscars® for three years in Australia, covering the 2026, 2027 and 2028 award ceremonies.
The local agreement will see the Oscars broadcast live and exclusively on Seven and 7plus, with a special encore screening at night.
This year, Seven is also the home of the 97th Oscars, which will be held on Sunday, 2 March 2025, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live in more than 200 territories worldwide. Emmy® Award-winning television host, writer, producer and comedian Conan O’Brien will host the 97th Oscars.
In Australia, Seven’s special coverage begins at 5.30am on Monday, 3 March, with Sunrise and The Morning Show leading into The Oscars Red Carpet Show at 10.30am AEDT followed by the 97th Oscars ceremony at 11.00am AEDT on Seven and both streaming live nationally on 7plus.
Seven West Media Group Managing Director, Television, Angus Ross, said: “Since 1929, the Oscars have recognised excellence in cinematic achievements. They are the pre-eminent film awards in the world. We are honoured to be the Australian broadcasting partner and delighted to extend our agreement.
“We’re particularly excited to be the local partner for the celebration of the 100th Oscars in 2028, which will be an amazing event.”
Live television event producer Raj Kapoor returns as executive producer and showrunner, Katy Mullan as executive producer, and Hamish Hamilton as director of the 97th Oscars.
Detective or disaster?
Hilarious puzzle unfolds in new crime comedy Ludwig on 7plus
Prepare for a wild blend of comedy, mystery, and a touch of chaos when Ludwig premieres on Wednesday, 5 February on 7plus.
The hit British series centres on John “Ludwig” Taylor, a brilliant but socially awkward puzzle solver, whose quiet, solitary life is upended when his identical twin brother, DCI James Taylor, goes missing. With no experience in crime-solving, John reluctantly assumes the identity of his brother as a detective with the Cambridge Police Authority to find him.
Starring David Mitchell (Peep Show, Would I Lie To You?, Outsiders) and Anna Maxwell Martin (Bleak House, Line Of Duty, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder), the six-part crime comedy is a rollercoaster of wit, suspense, and plenty of comedic missteps.
Created and written by Mark Brotherhood, Ludwig is produced by Big Talk Studios in collaboration with That Mitchell and Webb Company, and in association with ITV Studios.
With his knack for puzzles, can John solve the biggest one yet – finding his twin and uncovering the truth?

Laughter is the best medicine
Meet the loveable, overwhelmed staff of St. Denis Medical on 7plus
Get ready for a hilarious rollercoaster through the halls of one of the quirkiest fictional hospital as St. Denis Medical launches on 7plus on Monday, 3 February.
A breakout hit in the US, the incredibly charming and laugh-out-loud 13-episode mockumentary goes behind the scenes of an underfunded, understaffed hospital in Oregon, where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.
The series stars Australia’s Josh Lawson (Superstore) in the role of a beleaguered surgeon caught between helping patients and protecting his own mental health. Joining him are David Alan Grier (Joe Pickett), Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs, Bridesmaids), Allison Tolman (Why Women Kill, Fargo) and Mekki Leeper (Jury Duty).
St. Denis Medical has already made waves with its stellar debut in the US, becoming the #1 live action-comedy premiere of the season and the highest-rated scripted broadcast series premiere among people 18 to 40 since January 2023. The series also dominated its timeslot, securing #1 and #2 ratings across both linear and BVOD, and was the #1 top day series launch on Peacock ever.
Produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, St. Denis Medical is written and executive produced by Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin, the creative forces behind Superstore. Simon Heuer, Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu also executive produce.

So 7mate’s Bathurst 12 hour coverage will finish early on Saturday to ensure a seamless transition of Women’s Ashes test coverage from main channel to 7mate. Problem is, there is still a pole battle at Bathurst 12 Hour (the fastest qualifier receives the Allan Simonsen Pole Position Trophy) just after 4pm AEDT according to the race schedule. Will it be shown on 7plus only?
So the WAshes went from being on 7mate from 4:30pm until end to now being on 7two until 7:30pm and then on 7mate?
I don’t understand why they didn’t just keep it on 7mate entirely like before & move SL v Aus to 7two between 5pm & 7:30pm. Or move the WAshes test to 7two during that time period.
Both should be on a HD channel for majority. It’s an Ashes match as well so that being on 7two seems wrong. It would rate better than whatever they have instead
And the Sunday schedule released so far.

Secrets, serial killers and deadly chase await on The Hunting Party on 7plus
Join the chase as a team of investigators races against the time to capture the nation’s most dangerous serial killers when The Hunting Party premieres on Tuesday, 4 February on 7plus.
Starring Melissa Roxburgh (Manifest, Supernatural), Josh McKenzie (The Twelve, Five Bedrooms), Nick Wechsler (Revenge, Chicago P.D.), Patrick Sabongui (Homeland, Godzilla), and Sara Garcia (Ride, The Flash), The Hunting Party puts viewers in a high-stakes race where every second counts – and each lead could be the last.
In this gripping new crime procedural drama, a secret prison housing the nation’s most violent serial killers mysteriously explodes. A former profiler is forced to assemble an elite team of soldiers, spies, and special agents to track down the dangerous criminals before they kill again.
The Hunting Party is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. It is executive produced by JJ Bailey, Jake Coburn, Thor Freudenthal and Keto Shimizu.
The Hunting Party Stream Tuesday, 4 February on 7plus

03:30 PM AEDT Bathurst 12hr Qualification 3 / Supports
According to Seven’s press release as posted by TVCynic, if the men’s test makes it to day five, the first session will only be on 7plus.
I’d say that will be updated to a broadcast airing as well closer to the time once they know more.
