The editing on this special is so jarring. Way too many cutaways to the audience and in general too many cuts to allow us to focus on the magic.
Also the Cosentino documentary cutaways are lame and just fill time.
The production crew should take note of Penn and Teller: Fool Us is shot for future specials. Or better yet go full Masked Magician style - increase the creepiness and cut the live audience element altogether.
It’s disappointing because Cosentino is brilliant talent.

I’m interested in catching-up (actually fast forwarding through) on 7Plus, but feel this won’t do Farmer / 1% launch numbers and appears filler and without MC in an unprecedented week, Nine could/should see their first easy win in a while, since Married
Cosentino ran 16 minutes over time. How???
Every pre-recorded show that airs at 7.30pm on Seven and Nine runs overtime.
The footage of “what’s coming up after the break” and the recap footage after the commercial breaks dont help with the over runs either.

It appears to be cancelled because of economics and not low ratings

“Blow Up Australia” isn’t really the best name for a show. They need to remove “Australia” from the title.

Probably to differentiate it from the original.
Standard nomenclature these days for series that have multiple regional variations, even if they’re not on the air at the same time.

That’s not what 7 are calling it though.
They don’t refer to other shows as The Voice Australia, Farmer Wants a Wife Australia, MKR Australia etc…
I’m yet to see a promo or article refer to it as Blow Up Australia.
Sounds like a Do It Yourself guide to international terrorism.

Our final two farmers make a life changing decision.
Given Seven will show the Sunday night AFL clash between Carlton and Essendon on June 11, and assuming Farmer Wants a Wife reunion will be on May 28, there still lies a programming gap on Sunday June 4.

The following Sunday will still need programming for Sydney, Brisbane and Perth too alongside AFL. Maybe filler like first run or repeat Highway Patrol and a premiere or repeat movie like Devil Wears Prada.
