Regarding the renaming of this thread, just wondering if it has been announced that the merged company will be changing its name from Pacific Star Network to Crocmedia? I didn’t notice any reference to that in the ASX release, unless I missed it.

Everything I’ve read is that Pacific Star is essentially buying Crocmedia with Hutchy becommi g CEO down the track. So I’d guess PSN for now.

There are still separate threads for Crocmedia and Pacific Star Network and I expect will remain so for some time. Will no doubt be reviewed once more is known.

The merger won’t be finalised until March, so things will still be reasonably separate until then.
Even after the merger, it’s possibly worthwhile to have different thread for the Syndication/Crocmedia and Pacific Star/Radio arms of the company.

Switch of stations for Inside The Ropes.
Was on RSN927 last year.

There is no mention of the names of those 150 radio stations though.

Sounds like an advertorial with the GA MM on air.

Mitch Cleary is quitting as reporter for Sportsday VIC after he was appointed chief football writer of AFL official website, effective from next Monday March 5. He will still appear on the show on an irregular basis. (I think he will also continue his appearance on Footy Classified)

From Radioinfo:

Crocmedia is the official partner of Bowls Australia after signing a two-year agreement.

The broadcaster will produce exclusive radio and television content for bowls, including television coverage of the sport’s open annual event, the $250,000 prize-money Australian Open in June.

Triple M announced today it was pulling out of broadcasting cricket after two summers. Could it pave the way for Crocmedia to fill the void?
