The issues go much deeper by the sound of it - there were questions over the last few weeks about who’s in charge.

Don’t want to speculate stuff but what is going on?
Firstly, AASA split up with Benalla Auto Club (BAC) in a highly contentious ownership dispute, then the major sponsor Hi-Tec Oils gets the naming rights removed from the series event (assuming they pulled away) tv deal gets cut, and then Ambrose steps away.
Non AFL/NRL sports are continually going through riffs like this. The money goes one way at the moment.

All the action from the 2026 edition of La Vuelta as the final Grand Tour of the year sets off from Monaco. The route will take the peloton through a mediterranean and mountainous landscape, across 21 stages and a total of 3275 kilometres. Every stage is live on SBS2 and SBS On Demand from the 23rd of August to 14th of September. Stage 1 - All the action from the opening stage of La Vuelta 2026, as the race begins with a 9 km individual time-trial starting and finishing in Monaco.
Doesnt help that governance in sport in Australia is poor to non-existent.
