The Wallabies looked gone in the last 15 minutes of the match against France, botching two golden chances to score tries to take the lead. The tourists only had to kick the ball into touch after the final siren to win, but the Wallabies regained possession, and got a penalty 20 phases later which was successfully converted.

France beat Australia in Australia for the first time since 1990 (and only for the fifth time in history), beating the Wallabies 28-26 in the second test at Melbourneâs AAMI Park tonight. The Wallabies again fell behind for most of the match but this time they could not conjure a great escape.
The series is now 1-1 with the decider back at Brisbane this Saturday night.

We got lots of tries but the ref kept disallowing them⌠I was at the game but what I did notice there were heaps of penalties. Is this normal for RU? First RU game
Yes, there are a lot more penalties in Union than in League. Itâs a slower more technical game, particularly with scrums, they can take a while.
Well done to the French, I thought the Wallabies had them with their last try and penalty goal.

Itâs a joy to watch a rugby union scrum and an actual fight for the ball. Granted, sometimes the scrum penalties can be a bit painful.
Union is also a fight for field position rather than possession, hence the kicks down field when theyâre backed up to their goal line.

Thriller at suncorp as Australia win the series with a 33-30 victory over France with only 14 men for most of the match.

I was expecting a one-sided match after the red card, but it seems the French got a bit cocky? Wallabies played with heart tonight - thatâll help them with the Bledisloe next month.

Apart from the Bledisloe Cup tests in NZ for two consecutive weeks, New Zealand Rugby had also made changes to the overall Rugby Championship fixture.

The All Blacks were too good beating the Walabies 33-25 at Auckland in wet weather. The wallabies has a lot of chances during the match, but during the 2nd half the All Blacks simply controlled the match. Wallabies havenât won a Bledisloe Cup match in Auckland since 1986? Why is it so hard for the Wallabies to win in Auckland?

NZ Rugby has been one of the most successful international teams in any sport for a while now⌠It is a game that is extremely well suited to the Maori physique.
The 33-25 scoreline didnât tell the full story. Late tries by the Wallabies saved them from losing by a bigger margin. The visitors also missed a few conversions and penalties.
The Wallabies were missing three players including Marika Koroibete for breaching drinking protocols during the week, they should be back for the second test next Saturday.

New Zealand thrashed Australia 57-22 in Auckland this evening to retain Bledisloe Cup for yet another year. The All Blacks broke their own record of most points against Australia - previously 54 set in 2017.
The match also marked the start of this yearâs Rugby Championship.

The Wallabies were in the contest at half time, trailing by only 6, but the All Blacks blew Australia off the park from there scoring the first 29 points of the second half.
Game 3 is in Perth in 2 weeks time.
Radio reports Toutai Kefu is currently in surgery âfighting for his lifeâ. One person so far has been arrested.

The 2021 Shute Shield season has been cancelled due to the COVID outbreak in Sydney. No winner will be declared, for the first time since World War I.

New Zealand Rugby Union announced today it would not be sending the All Blacks to Perth to play the third Bledisloe Cup match at Optus Stadium on August 28, due to uncertainty over the Rugby Championship schedule.
Western Australia declared NZ as a low-risk region this week after the country entered a COVID lockdown, and WA Health had given the All Blacks the deadline of tomorrow (Saturday) to arrive in Perth. All Blacks however had planned to fly to Perth on Sunday.
