There are still the Triple M AM stations in NSW, QLD and WA that will play new songs from the likes of Ed Sheeran.

Until about 5 or so years ago, Hot100 was on 765am in Katherine, and Hit was on 747am in Exmouth WA.

Given the frequency in the advert was 1010 - that dates it before the 9KHz change of 23 November 1978

Even though the change happened in 1978 did radio stations (such as 4IP) immediately change their branding to reflect their new frequencies as for most stations it was only a slight adjustment to their frequency and with dial tuners in those days there wasn’t really a need to know the precise frequency.
