Spotlight on Aged Care

Thursday 25 February at 8:30pm

On the eve of the Royal Commission’s final report into Aged Care, Q+A takes a close look at what needs to change when it comes to caring for our elderly.

The pandemic has exposed deadly failings and nightmare stories of neglect for those in the sector.

While Q&A won’t go anywhere in the immediate future, I think if the low ratings continue in the long run (if anything I expect them to get worse once Thursday Night AFL/NRL returns) then 2021 will likely end up being the final year.

Live From Melbourne

There’s lots to discuss this week:

Fixing the Future

Live from Melbourne
Thursday 26 March

With the world in lockdown and the showdown with China accelerating, the West must now adapt to a world it no longer dominates.

Our current political, justice and economic systems are unable to resolve the current global crises, nor bridge the growing divides of wealth, gender and race.

COVID is giving us a chance to reset, but already we’re seeing a toxic form of vaccine nationalism take hold, in which unequal access to vaccines is leaving some countries out in the cold. So how do we design a more equal world?
